Sasha Banks Says She’s Scared Of Vince McMahon
Despite Sasha Banks' early success in WWE, she doesn't seem above intimidation.
When speaking to Sam Roberts on his podcast this week (which you can see above), the former WWE Raw Women's Champion stated that she generally speaks to Triple H backstage. Her reason? A flat out fear of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon.
“Hunter’s Poppa, so (Vince McMahon) must be Granddaddy. I don’t really talk to him too often, because I'm honestly very scared of him. I'm honestly really scared of him. But when he walks by, I try to be cool. Yeah, ‘hello, how are you, sir?’ He’s like, ‘hello, yeah.’ I’m like, ‘we’re good, right?’ It’s mostly just Papa Hunter that I talk to. I’ve known him since NXT. He's seen me since the beginning when I was a nobody, so he’s my go-to guy if I ever need help or questions. He’s the man," Banks said.
Wrestling Observer reported this this week that Vince McMahon blamed Sasha Banks for what he called a 'flat' ending in her match with Charlotte at Hell in a Cell. It was the first women's match to main event a WWE pay-per-view.
Sasha Banks will participate in the 5-on-5 women's elimination match as a part of team Raw at Survivor Series later this month.
