Sasha Banks Says Her Goal Is To Become A Double Champion In WWE

“The Boss” wants all the gold!

Today is the day that “The Legit Boss” Sasha Banks has the chance to back up what she has been stating in interviews and on podcasts leading up to today and that is that she feels she is the best in the game right now. Banks and the RAW Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey will clash tonight at ‘Chase Field’ in front of 40,000 plus fans at WWE’s Royal Rumble pay-per-view

Banks has her sights set on becoming a five-time RAW Women’s Champion but that is not the only gold in the sports-entertainment company that she is chasing. The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships have been brought back into the fray and the first champions will be crowned at the ‘Elimination Chamber’ pay-per-view on February 17th. Bayley and Sasha Banks have been talking about holding those Women’s Tag Titles for months and during a recent interview talkSPORT, Sasha reflected on the past few months of her career and stated that she has been out of the title picture for quite some time so she shifted her focus over to becoming a Tag Team Champion and now she has the chance to become a double champion.

“For me, frustration is what you need to strive you to get better. You have to fail to succeed and you can’t just stay at the top because there’s nowhere else to go. If you’re just at the top, you’re gonna go stale, you’re gonna stagnate, you’re never going to learn and grow and for me, the last year has been a rollercoaster of a career, but I felt the most accomplished when Vince McMahon said the Women’s Tag Team Titles were coming.” Sasha continued, “I wasn’t getting used in the title picture, so I found a different focus and a different goal. I worked so hard on my craft, I worked hard to be the best singles wrestler and now I’m working hard to be the best tag team wrestler that I can. For me, yes I was frustrated, but I got everything I wanted at the same time. It’s just cool at the start of 2019 going into the title picture and hearing the tag titles are coming. So for me, my goal is to be a double champion.”
