Ronda Rousey Calls Sasha Banks A “Self-Entitled Narcissist;” Banks Calls Her Out On “Shady Bullshit”

The build for Sundays Raw Women’s Title bout continues on social media.

WWE had just two weeks of television to build this Sunday’s match between Ronda Rousey and Sasha Banks. With limited time, the two ladies have taken to social media to add extra attention and heat to their Raw Women’s Title showdown. Last night on Raw, Banks picked up some momentum by forcing Natalya to tap out in a tag team bout that also featured Rousey and Bayley.  The champion and challenger argued and were separated by their respective partners as the show went off the air. Following the show, Banks took to Instagram to send a warning to Rousey.

On Tuesday morning, Rousey shot back with an Instagram post of her own.

@sashabankswwe you are one crafty, savvy, interesting opponent. I practically begged you to step up and challenge me because I thought all the vile nasty things the other women in the locker room said about you was because they were envious of your talent and ability. Chalk this up to a lesson learned by me. No one was envious. Or jealous. Just sick of your two-faced approach to campaigning for popularity. You’re an unappreciative, disrespectful, self-entitled narcissist who has actually succeeded in eclipsing her talent with her arrogance and portrayal of a Boss monicker you take WAAAAAY too seriously. I can’t even put into words how badly I want to rescind everything I’ve said about you. But that’s to your credit. You played me. But I won’t be playing this Sunday. I’ll be fighting. You come on down to the ring at Chase Field in your purple haired “I’m a BOSS” cosplay outfit – I’ll meet you in my fight gear. And trust me, @sashabankswwe, you’re in for a rude awakening that’s still more polite than you deserve. At the #RoyalRumble The Boss is getting fired by the #HBIC #RondaVsSasha #rawwomenschampionship #Jan27

Here’s something you might already know about me @rondarousey … I don’t give a shit who’s saying ” vile ” things about me. Truth is those are the same people who pump you up not because they like you, but because of who you are, and what you can do for them. At the end of the day I do what I do for the betterment of the women’s wrestling. And if that means calling people on out their shady bullshit, or doing nothing for weeks on end because I choose to work hard on my craft instead of kissing ass in dark corners, then so be it. You see those women’s tag titles? That’s what my desire has brought to this division. You think I played you when in reality, I’ve been the same exact person this whole time. I respect, respect. Respect for those who share the ring with you, respect for this thing we call professional wrestling, and respect for the ones who go out of the way, when the cameras are not on, to do everything they can to make things better for every women in that locker room. You got a little success and decided to disrespect me… Time to show you who the king of the jungle really is!!! #RoyalRumble #legitboss #Allin
