–  Not even a mid-match kiss could help Toni Storm defeat Saraya, as the AEW Women’s World Champion beat her former stablemate to retain the gold.

– Adam Cole visited Roderick Strong in the hospital, clearly concerned about his neck health. He got into a brief confrontation with The Kingdom (Matt Taven and Mike Bennett. Strong got upset when Cole had to leave to go support MJF for his match.

– Monteasy rapped Sammy Guevara to the ring ahead of his match with Chris Jericho.

Eddie Kingston defeated Claudio Castagnoli to win the ROH World Championship.

– Fueled by some late support from Adam Cole, MJF persevered and defeated Samoa Joe to retain the AEW World Championship. MJF and Samoa Joe shook hands after the bell.

– Chris Jericho defeated Sammy Guevara, but Guevara turned on him and aligned with Don Callis after the match.

– Daniel Garcia briefly confronted Sammy Guevara backstage.

Rey Fenix defeated Jon Moxley to win the AEW International Championship.

Christian Cage challenged Darby Allin to face him and TNT Champion Luchasaurus in a title match on the September 23 episode of AEW Collision.

– A video package highlighted a four-way tag team match on AEW Rampage: The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy) will face Best Friends (Chuck Taylor & Trent Beretta), The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch), and The Kingdom (Matt Taven & Mike Bennett). The winners will earn a shot at the ROH World Tag Team Championship.

– MJF parodied a classic Bret Hart advertisement.

– Saraya commented on her victory.

– MJF briefly shared his thoughts after his victory.

Eddie Kingston discussed his win and dedicated it to Xavier.

 – “Hangman” Adam Page and Swerve Strickland will sign the contract for their match at AEW WretleDream on the September 27 episode of AEW Dynamite.

– Sammy Guevara quoted “Judas” by Fozzy after he turned on Chris Jericho.
