Logan Paul has set his sights on WWE United States Champion Rey Mysterio in recent weeks. On the October 20 episode of WWE SmackDown, Paul talked some trash about Mysterio. The veteran came out and said he wouldn’t hesitate to give Paul a beating, and they agreed to face each other at WWE Crown Jewel.
Santos Escobar, one of Mysterio’s LWO stablemates, then took to Twitter and sent Paul a brief message. Paul responded and mockingly called Escobar Papi. Escobar fired back by saying he is Paul’s Papi, and he will see him soon.

Escobar and Paul previously clashed in the Men’s Money in the Bank match at WWE Money in the Bank 2023.
