Sandra Gray Thanks Tony Khan And AEW For A Loving Send Off
AEW gave Sandra Gray a beautiful send off.
Fightful Select reported on June 7 that seamstress Sandra Gray was retiring. She had been with AEW since it launched in 2019, and is universally loved in the wrestling world, having worked with WCW, WWE, and WCW throughout her career.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that prior to the June 7 episode of AEW Dynamite, Dustin Rhodes came to the stage and led the crowd in celebrating Gray. Tony Khan, as well as several members of the roster and staff also joined her on the stage and presented her with flowers.
On June 10, Gray took to Twitter to express her gratitude toward Tony Khan and the company for her time their and the beautiful send off.

Throughout her remarkable career, Gray’s contributions to the wrestling world have been immeasurable. She is credited with making Naomi’s Glow Suit a reality, creating the blood drips on Scott Hall’s gear, and many other iconic pieces of gear.
Per Fightful Select, Gray will continue to make Cody Rhodes’ gear, which she has been doing for years. Brandi Rhodes, Cody’s wife, was instrumental in bringing Gray to AEW when it launched.
