San Francisco 49ers Tight End George Kittle Rushed Out Of Press Conference To Attend WWE TLC
San Francisco 49ers Tight End George Kittle was not going to let a press conference keep him from attending Sunday’s WWE TLC event.
The 49ers had a home game on Sunday afternoon as they welcomed the Seattle Seahawks to Levi’s Stadium. The game went to overtime and was eventually won by the 49ers on a field goal. Kick off was at 1:05 p.m. local time and with the game-winning field goal splitting the uprights at 4:24 p.m. The win snapped a 10-game losing streak for the 49ers.
16 minutes away at the SAP Center, WWE TLC had already began. As a requirement, NFL players must speak to the media following a game. Kittle, wearing a “Stone Cold” Steve Austin shirt, made sure to inform the media to keep things short as he wanted to make it to TLC before he missed too much of the action.
