Samoa Joe Commenting On Shinsuke Nakamura “Low-Blowing” AJ Styles: “I Don’t Know If AJ’s Gonna Have Kids Anymore”

"The Destroyer" is looking to conquer all.

As a part of the 2018 WWE 'Superstar Shake-Up' SmackDown Live gained a big-time player in the form of Samoa Joe. Joe is looking for a fresh start on SmackDown Live seeing as how he recently missed his second consecutive WrestleMania event due to injury. While speaking with the New York Post Joe shared that although it can be disappointing to some he has no time to be bitter about missing the "Show Of Shows".

“The people that are worried are the people who think it’s [WrestleMania] not going to happen." Joe said. “I wasn’t sad in the sense that I was like ‘Oh man, there is my dream,’ in like these Disney tunes, like they make it out in all these montages of everybody else’s WrestleMania memories, which is really disgusting to me. It’s like a U2 song, like ‘A Beautiful Day’ and this montage, ‘My WrestleMania dream.’ Yes, your WrestleMania dream. I’m not worried about my WrestleMania dream. Trust me, I’m showing up at WrestleMania and when I do it’s going to be a problem for everybody. I’m not worried about that."

This upcoming Sunday at 'Backlash' Samoa Joe will be squaring off against "The Big Dog" Roman Reigns. Samoa Joe weighed on the change that the WWE PPV schedule is currently undergoing with 'Backlash' being the beginning of WWE hosting dual-branded PPV's for the foreseeable future. "The Samoan Submission Specialist" stated that the locker room will be stepping it up more now than ever seeing as how room on dual-branded PPV cards will get tighter and tighter as the months progress.

“You are going to see guys pushing it because they want to be featured at the end of the month,” he said. “That ramp up in competition, that’s a natural part of the process.”

On the latest edition of SmackDown Live, the former two-time NXT Champion confronted an old foe from his TNA days; the current WWE Champion AJ Styles. But as Joe was addressing his former TNA comrade Styles' opponent at 'Backlash' Shinsuke Nakamura made his presence felt and delivered yet another "low-blow" to AJ. Samoa Joe shared his thoughts on the segment and AJ's chances of having another child.

"It knocked the pause out of me when I saw him,” Joe said. “Because he has the Bruce Lee little style. His arm was all up on [AJ] and then he had the little Bruce Lee thing; the ‘Whaaaa.’ Like that’s deep, like he got him good. Like my brothers are pretty good with the bag tag but this, he got there. I don’t know if AJ's gonna have kids anymore man, it was bad. Those were deep in there and he had the fire fists at the end, which is also very important.”

Samoa Joe also discussed the possibility of competing against Daniel Bryan now that they are both on the same brand, talked his experience in Saudi Arabia for the 'Greatest Royal Rumble' event, and more. To read the full interview with Samoa Joe, click here.
