Sammy Guevara Steals BMF Championship On AEW Rampage, Plans To Have A ‘Celebration’ With Tay Conti

As possession is nine-tenths of the law, Sammy Guevara is the new BMF Champion. Guevara, Frankie Kazarian, and Tay Conti entered the American Top Team gym on the May 27 episode of AEW Rampage and destroyed a trophy case holding multiple championships.
Guevara ended up taking the Baddest MotherFucker belt, which was awarded to Jorge Masvidal at UFC 244 after he defeated Nate Diaz by stoppage at the end of the third round.
Guevara and Conti, who took one of the old UFC Championships, planned to “celebrate” with the BMF Championship.

It is unknown how Masvidal feels about his title being stolen, but the two have been on the same page in the past despite American Top Team feuding with the Inner Circle.

Guevara will team with Conti & Kazarian against Ethan Page, Scorpio Sky, & Paige VanZant at AEW Double or Nothing on Sunday.
