Samantha Irvin shares her thoughts on the boos Dominik Mysterio gets.
In recent months, Dominik Mysterio has consistently been getting the loudest boos of the night. Fans increasingly drown him out every time he tries to speak. At times, the responses have been so loud that some critics have argued that WWE is either piping in the boos or turning down Dominik’s microphone in order to boost the crowd noose.
In a tweet, WWE ring announcer Samantha Irvin responded to a fan who claimed that WWE turned Mysterio’s microphone down on the September 12 episode of WWE Raw. Irvin noted that, one week, fans say that the crowd isn’t reacting enough, but when the reactions are remarkably loud, critics point to production.
One week the crowd “isn’t reacting enough”- the next week we get the LOUDEST reactions ever and we mad at production —— you know y’all could just ask me instead of looking like bonafide haters just lmk https://t.co/NSbiYusJmh

Irvin then stated that the crowd in Norfolk, Virgina, on September 11 brought the loudest boos that Dominik has received to date. She called the response hilariously loud and stated that it came off exactly the way it sounded in the arena.
Norfolk, Virginia EASILY brought the loudest Dom boo’s to date! HILARIOUSLY LOUD. This is exactly what it sounded like in the house & y’all are the most nit-picky era of fans ever.

In another post, Irvin wrote that she listened to the audio back, and she stated that it sounded the way it did on Monday. She noted that you couldn’t hear anything Dominik said, and the crowd was especially loud every time he spoke.
Listening to this audio back, this is what it was like last night —- I know you don’t want to believe it, but it was really was. You couldn’t hear a damn thing he said and every time he spoke the crowd was the loudest I ever heard —

Irvin then responded to a fan who wrote that WWE pips in crowd noise all the time. She stated that she doesn’t care about “piped in noise”, “lowered mics”, or anything to do with production, other than the fact that they work hard to ensure that the fans are entertained as much as possible.
I don’t care about ‘piped in noise,’ ‘lowered mics’ or anything to do with production except the fact that they work their asses off to make split second decisions to ensure the house & at- home audience is entertained & experiences as much as possible.
Thank you, though —-
