Ryusuke Taguchi Pins Jushin Thunder Liger In Liger’s Penultimate Bout On Wrestle Kingdom 14 Night 1
Jushin Thunder Liger suffered defeat for his team and what was his second-to-last professional wrestling match ever.
In what was a legendary showcase match featuring the likes of such names as Tatsumi Fujinami, Great Sasuke and Shinjiro Otani, none of the legends slowed down with Tatsumi Fujinami hitting his signature Dragon Screw maneuvers, Sasuke attempting many high-risk dive maneuvers, and Otani completely wiping out Sasuke early on with a face wash running kick.

In the end, Ryusuke Taguchi put away Liger with a Chicken Wing Facebuster. After the match, all of the legends paid their respect to Liger, who will have his final match tomorrow night, teaming with his early rival, Naoki Sano, to face the modern-day rival team of Ryu Lee and her own Hiromu Takahashi.
