Ryohei Oiwa officially joined TMDK as the third man at NJPW Destruction in Kobe.
He teamed with Zack Sabre Jr and Kosei Fujita to defeat Just 5 Guys (SANADA, Taichi and Taka Michinoku).
The finish saw Oiwa pin Taka with a discus lariat.

Oiwa was previously signed to Pro Wrestling NOAH.
At the end of the night, Oiwa challenged Shingo Takagi to defend the NEVER Openweight Title against him at NJPW King of Pro Wrestling on October 14.
