Here is your post-NXT 2.0 fight size update for August 30.

– Roxanne Perez blocked Cora Jade’s number and stated that while they’re not friends anymore, she’s not finished with her former partner yet.

– Joe Gacy has been recruiting Cameron Grimes for weeks, and he finally got an answer on Tuesday. Grimes turned him down, saying that he doesn’t need anyone to get to the moon. He took the fight to The Dyad, but Gacy hugged him and let him go free.

– Grayson Waller picked up a major win against former WWE Intercontinental Champion Apollo Crews. Late in the bout, he raked Crews’ eye, and the latter’s compromised eyesight ultimately made all the difference.

– Zoey Stark bounced back with a win over Kiana James. After the bout, James tried to attack her, but Nikkita Lyons saved her tag team partner. Stark had been sidelined since she lost to NXT Women’s Champion Mandy Rose at NXT Heatwave.

– On Twitter, Natalya praised Stark and noted that it’s not easy to come back from a torn ACL. Stark thanked the veteran and expressed her hope that they’ll face each other in the ring soon.

– Andre Chase took Charlie Dempsey to school and delivered a teachable moment by winning their match.

Several former champions appeared on the show. Former NXT Champion Finn Balor gave the current champion, Bron Breakker, some advice ahead of NXT Worlds Collide. 

– Doudrop and Nikki A.S.H. confronted NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance and Kayden Carter after the latter duo defeated Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley. The broadcast team confirmed that Chance and Carter will defend their titles against Doudrop and A.S.H. at NXT Worlds Collide.

– Butch appeared on the show and gave some advice to NXT UK Champion Tyler Bate.

Rhea Ripley popped up and told Blair Davenport not to screw up her opportunity on Sunday; Davenport will face Mandy Rose and Meiko Satomura in a unification match for the NXT Women’s Championship and the NXT UK Women’s Championship.

– Likewise, Shayna Baszler told Mandy Rose to win on Sunday; if she doesn’t, everything she has said for the past year will be rendered meaningless.

– Alba Fyre told Meiko Satomura that the NXT UK Women’s Championship looks good on her and encouraged her to win on Sunday.

– Gallus cost Josh Briggs and Brooks Jensen, alongside Fallon Henley, their match against Pretty Deadly and Lash Legend. The teams brawled after the match.

– WWE Intercontinental Champion Gunther approached Tyler Bate and told him to uphold the legacy of the NXT UK Championship at NXT Worlds Collide.

Nathan Frazer and Axiom agreed to face off in a Best of Three match at Worlds Collide.

– The Creed Brothers told Roderick Strong that they don’t trust him, and he wound up costing them the main event. The Diamond Mine, sand Strong, faced Gallus, and the veteran came to ringside late in the match. He argued with his stablemates, and Gallus capitalized on the distraction by pinning Damon Kemp. The teams fought after the bell, and it turned into a fight that saw the locker room clear out and wage war in the ring. WWE then announced that The Creed Brothers and Briggs and Jensen will defend their titles in a unification match at NXT Worlds Collide.

– Ciampa appeared and delivered a passionate message about the importance of the NXT Championship to Breakker.

– Quincy Elliot vowed to change the game and show the world who he is.

– Ricochet confronted NXT North American Champion Carmelo Hayes and challenged him to a match at NXT Worlds Collide. He stated that he wanted to give the fans a match they would remember.

– JD McDonagh stated that he’d rather be “creepy” and in control of his emotions than fragile like Wes Lee.

– In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Andre Chase discussed his win over Charlie Dempsey and stated that Chase University is the premier university. He said Dempsey pissed him off last week, and their mach showed that Dempsey still has a lot to learn.

– In a WWE Digital Exclusive, Grayson Waller commented on his win over Apollo Crews and noted that he took the way he talked about championship matches personally. He stated that his victory showcased the Grayson Waller Effect.

– Ricochet commented on his return to NXT in a WWE Digital Exclusive. He noted that, as a giving man, he wanted to give fans a Carmelo Hayes match they would remember, and winning the North American Championship would just be icing on the cake.
