Ronda Rousey Returns On 8/12 WWE SmackDown To Pay ‘Fine’ Following Her ‘Suspension’

Being the baddest gets expensive.

Ronda Rousey returned to WWE SmackDown on the August 12 episode, coming through the crowd with a bag full of money. She emptied the bag of money onto a table, set up for the contract signing between Shayna Baszler and Liv Morgan, and said “being the baddest gets expensive, but I can afford it.”

Rousey was “fined an undisclosed amount” and “suspended” for attacking an official at WWE SummerSlam. Rousey attacked the official after he missed Morgan tapping out in their SmackDown Women’s Title bout and instead counted Rousey’s shoulders down.

Rousey was escorted out of the ring by security. She was met by Baszler on the way out, who said Rousey needed to play nice to get what she wanted. Rousey took exception, saying Baszler used to be a killer.

The contract signing between Baszler and Morgan ended with Morgan hitting a bulldog on Baszler through the table.

Morgan will defend her SmackDown Women’s Title against Baszler at WWE Clash at the Castle.
