Ronda Rousey Reacts To NWA EmPowerrr: ‘So Worth The Money, I Honestly Would Have Paid Double!’

Ronda Rousey liked what she saw from the National Wrestling Alliance’s first all-women pay-per-view.

Ronda Rousey knows a thing or two about historic moments in women’s wrestling history. During her time in WWE, Ronda Rousey headlined the only women-only pay-per-view that WWE ever produced, WWE Evolution, in a match against Nikki Bella. After that, she would go on to headline WrestleMania 35 in a Triple Threat match against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. Since that day, she has not been seen inside of a WWE ring.

On August 28, 2021, the NWA produced their first-ever women-only pay-per-view, NWA EmPowerrr. The event was produced by Mickie James, somebody Ronda Rousey knows very well from her WWE days. Ronda watched the event from the comfort of her own home and had nothing but glowing praise to say about the event on social media.

Specifically, Ronda would commend Deonna Purrazzo and Melina for the match that they had for the IMPACT Knockouts Championship, praise AEW’s Red Velvet, and say that she enjoyed the event so much, she would have even paid double the money for it.

WWE has always remained steadfast that Ronda Rousey is always welcome to return to the ring for them but Ronda is currently focused on growing her family as she is pregnant with a baby girl. Learn more here.
