Roman Reigns Wants Daniel Bryan Match At WrestleMania 35
Roman Reigns has a few WrestleMania opponents in mind.
Daniel Bryan and Roman Reigns have wrestled against each other and on teams together but those matches happened before Bryan had to step away from WWE for three years. In an interview with the Spanish language section of WWE.com, Roman Reigns said he wants another big match against Bryan now that he has returned.
“That’s tough. The last few years have been a rollercoaster of emotions and great opportunities, but I would like to face Daniel Bryan again. I don’t watch a lot of the talent competing on SmackDown, but I know he’s been medically cleared and health permitting, that could be a great match for next year at WrestleMania. Daniel Bryan vs. Roman Reigns. But if that match doesn’t happen, then I’d like to face the rest of the Shield, Seth and Dean. I think that too would be pretty good,” said Reigns.
For now, Reigns and Bryan are on two different brands of WWE but the pay-per-views are going to be co-branded starting with WWE Backlash. Reigns is currently pursuing Brock Lesnar’s WWE Universal Championship which he will challenge for at the Greatest Royal Rumble on April 27th.
