Roman Reigns Tweets Response To Cody Rhodes “Biggest Draw” Claim, Rhodes Pokes At Reigns’ Drug Test
Cody Rhodes stirred up some controversy on Saturday night when he called himself, “the biggest damn draw in this entire industry.”
The comments came following Rhodes’ successful title defense against KUSHIDA at ROH Global Wars.
Rhodes said in the video that he’s delivered on his promises of giving ROH the biggest houses and the biggest buyrates that they’ve ever seen.
Roman Reigns is not impressed.
Reigns is alluding to the 100,000 people packed into AT&T Stadium for WrestleMania 32. While the paid attendance of over 100,000 is disputed, the show is the most attended WWE event of all-time. Reigns headlined the event, challenging for the WWE Title against Triple H.
WWE's "Big Dog" has been rather outspoken towards The Bullet Club as of late, taking shots at The Young Bucks for imitating guys from 15 years ago.
While the attendance for ROH’s Global Wars show in Columbus on Saturday night is unknown at this time, it’s safe to assume that the show did not draw 100,000 fans.
Even though Rhodes is the ROH World Champion and laid claim to being the biggest draw in the industry, it was a six-man tag team bout between The Elite and the Best Flip Friends that closed Night 3 of Global Wars. At the show, Rhodes would say "I thought that tactical vest was just covering up a failed drug test, but it was covering up envy."
Reigns has headlined three straight WrestleMania events, all of which drew over 70,000 fans.
