Roman Reigns: I Might Be The Most Important Royal Rumble Competitor Of All Time
Fox Sports 1 traveled back to 2017 for its Royal Rumble watch along on Tuesday night and Roman Reigns chimed in.
The 2017 Royal Rumble was won by Randy Orton, who last eliminated Reigns in the bout. Reigns was the 30th entrant into the Rumble after wrestling earlier in the night and though he didn’t win. he did set up the WrestleMania main event by eliminating The Undertaker during the Rumble.
Feeling nostalgic, Reigns jumped on social media and gave a hot take that surely no one will disagee with.
I might be the most important Royal Rumble competitor of all time. Before you start complaining, just think about the last 5 years…. https://t.co/tIfyv3bMyw

Reigns won the 2015 Royal Rumble, entered the 2016 Royal Rumble as WWE Champion and was the second to last elimination, and was the last elimination in the 2017, 2018, and 2020 Royal Rumble matches. He didn’t compete in 2019 due to his battle with leukemia.
If he’s not the greatest Royal Rumble competitor of all-time, he’s at least LeBron James with how often he gets to the finals and loses.
