Roman Reigns Gives His Take On How Bobby Lashley Has Fared In His Return To WWE

“The Big Dog” comments on Lashley.

This past Sunday at WWE’s ‘Extreme Rules’ PPV, Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley did battle and the end of the contest saw Lashley hit Roman with Roman’s own move–the spear to pick up the victory. The following night on RAW both men emerged victorious in Triple-Threat matches and they will meet in singles action on next week’s RAW and the winner of that match will go on to challenge Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam.

Roman Reigns was present at the ESPN Sports Humanitarian Awards and prior to the event, Roman spoke with Helen Yee and during the interview she asked Reigns for his thoughts on how Lashley has done so far as it has now been four months since Lashley returned to WWE.

“You know, right off the get go, it was a little rocky but I think he’s really settled in and he’s getting comfortable and you can tell that he’s… it seems like he’s starting to feel at home again.” Roman continued, “When you leave the WWE and kind of move around a little bit, you can get out of the shake of things but it seems like he’s really getting comfortable and he had a great showing on Sunday, next Monday is not gonna be the same.”

Roman Reigns has his sights set on becoming Universal Champion and has minced no words about it. Reigns went on to speak about the potential Brock Lesnar and Daniel Cormier fight and Reigns stated that all he wants is for Cormier to save him a piece of Brock.

“Just save me some Danny, save me some man.” He said. “I think its good you know what I mean. Anytime we can crossover and just create another buzz and that’s kinda what Brock is doing so, we’d love to have him in WWE a lot more. We’d love for him to show up a lot more, but, you know, that’s Brock Lesnar he’s the beast, he’s gonna do what he does. If he shows up I’m ready for him.”
