ROH Fan Passes Out During Taven vs. Shelley Summer Supercard Bout, Gets His Shoe Used As A Weapon
ROH fan was having too much fan.
At last night’s Ring of Honor Summer Supercard event, Matt Taven defended his ROH World Title against Alex Shelley in the co-main event. The match was a fine affair, though one front-row fan was not impressed. As the action between Shelley and Taven spilled to the outside, a ringside fan was seen passed out with the crowd chanting “Wake him up.” Shelley took notice of the fan and decided to grab his shoe, launching it at Taven. Unhappy with the shoe being thrown at him, or by a fan falling asleep during his ROH World Title defense, Taven chucked the shoe back at Shelley. However, the shoe missed Shelley and ended up back at the feet of the fan.
With some encouragement from Shelley, the fan finally woke up, applauding the action that he didn’t see.
