ROH Contract Updates: Jay Lethal, Kyle O’Reilly, War Machine, BJ Whitmer, Steve Corino
Ring of Honor is trying to avoid a major roster turnover, and is attempting to re-sign a few major stars.
Former Television Champion Bobby Fish, Hanson and Ray Rowe of War Machine and BJ Whitmer all haven't signed new contracts. Kyle O'Reilly still hasn't finalized a deal, and if he ends up not doing so, could very well drop the ROH World Title at Wrestle Kingdom 11 to Adam Cole.
Jay Lethal has come to terms with Ring of Honor. This also affects New Japan Pro Wrestling, as Lethal worked several shows for the promotion throughout the year.
The company wanted to keep color commentator Steve Corino, but it didn't end up happening. His contract expires on December 31, and will be moving to the WWE, where he's accepted a job at the WWE Performance Center. Corino was a guest instructor there earlier this year.
ROH talents Kyle O'Reilly, Adam Cole, Hangman Page, Will Ospreay, Roppongi Vice and Young Bucks will all be performing at Wrestle Kingdom 11 on January 4.
