The two previously wrestled for the title on the September 18 episode of NXT with Strong pinning Dream to win the title and be the latest member of the Undisputed Era to hold a title. Ever since then, Dream had been goading Strong and the latest attempt saw the former champion show Strong’s “tiny penis.”
Dream previously held the title throughout most of 2019 and is currently holds the longest reign in the title’s short history.
The October 23 episode will come after the October 16 episode of NXT that will feature the in-ring return of Tommaso Ciampa as well as a rematch between Keith Lee and Dominik Dijakovic and a grudge match between Pete Dunne and Damian Priest.
