NJPW has announced the first matches for the next NJPW Academy Summer 2023 Showcase.

New Japan Pro-Wrestling announced that the NJPW Academy Summer 2023 Showcase will be held on October 7. Two matches have been confirmed for the show. 

NJPW Academy graduate Matt Vandagriff will face Rocky Romero, and Zane Jay will make his professional debut against The DKC.

Trish Adora, Viva Van, and others have also been announced.

Two matches are already official for this second special Academy event

Coming off an impressive showing at the first showcase, NJPW Academy graduate Matt Vandagriff makes his NJPW Strong debut as he meets Rocky Romero in singles action.

Zane Jay becomes the first student to complete both beginner and advanced Academy courses and makes his professional debut against one of his trainers, The DKC.

The first NJPW Academy Showcase event was held on June 10. Trish Adora, Kevin Knight, Royce Isaacs, and Fred Rosser wrestled at the show.
