NJPW lock up another key talent as Rocky Romero announced that he’s signed a multi-year deal with the company.
Romero not only works in a wrestling capacity for the company, but he also serves as the manager for Roppongi 3K, helps NJPW put together shows in the United States, and works as a commentator on the US broadcasts for NJPW World.

Romero has been with NJPW since 2010. During his time with the company, he’s won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Title and is an eight-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion. He’s also helped guide Roppongi 3K (SHO & YOH) to become two-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions.
As previously reported, NJPW will be losing Junior Heavyweight staple KUSHIDA at the end of the month. Romero took to social media to wish his former partner the best in his future.
Thanks for the last 8 years @KUSHIDA_0904 We went from rivals to partners. I have nothing but respect for you as pro wrestler. And I am glad to call you my friend. Ganbate kudasai—- pic.twitter.com/B2QAgsVpLw
