Rob Van Dam Continues To Sound Off On AEW & The State Of Pro Wrestling

RVD is not here for #AllPetiteWrestling.

Rob Van Dam turned heel for the first time in 18 years at IMPACT Wrestling’s 2019 Bound For Glory spectacular when he betrayed fellow ECW alum Rhino during their Tag Team Championship match.

This past Tuesday during IMPACT Wrestling’s AXS TV debut, Rob Van Dam gave the reasoning for his change of heart when he cut a promo from his hot tub calling out today’s professional wrestlers for stealing a lot of the moves that he feels he innovated.

Specifically, the ECW legend proclaimed there would be no Young Bucks or Kenny Omega without him.

Responding to fans on Twitter, RVD continued to stand by what he said when replying to fans who had an issue with him knocking All Elite Wrestling.

Specifically, he talked about the differences between when he started in wrestling to wrestling today by knocking the size of most wrestlers today saying that when he started, he was a small guy at 230 pounds because most were over three hundred and that today’s wrestler is an average weight of about 190 pounds.

RVD would also take a shot at WWE by using the hashtag #WeWrestleEveryDay alongside the #AllPetiteWrestling to solidify his comments about AEW.

To see where the RVD character is going to go from here, tune in to IMPACT Wrestling on AXS TV every Tuesday at 8 P.M. Eastern.
