Ring of Honor Wrestling Television Results for 2/8/19 Episode #386 Results NWA Championship Match

It’s a special edition of Ring of Honor Wrestling television this week with a special showcase match featuring the NWA World Heavyweight Championship!

-Villain Enterprises comes out to the ring for a match against three local performers before they clear the ring as we go to commercial.

Villain Enterprises vs Local Talent

PCO starts the match with Josie and chops him in the corner until he hits a slam and Skylar and Hollis go after him, but he takes them out with a double clothesline. PCO misses a flipping senton and lands on the apron, but he gets right back up and gets back into the ring. PCO lays out Josie and tags in Marty who chops him while playing to the crowd. Skylar gets the blind tag and hits a slingshot spear to Marty before Hollis comes in and hits a jumping knee drop for a quick two count. Marty fights his way out of the opposite corner and tags in Brody, Brody taking out all three of his opponents before hitting a cannonball in the ropes.

Brody tags in Marty and they double team Skylar before Brody clotheslines Skylar over the top with Hollis as the legal man when he gets the blind tag. Brody and Marty then double team Hollis before Marty locks in the Cross Face Chicken Wing for the tap and the win.

Winner: Villain Enterprises defeat three local performers via submission when Marty submits Hollis with the cross face chicken wing.

-After the match The Kingdom come out into the ramp and say that they are fighting champions and will defend their titles anywhere before leaving as we go to commercial.

NWA World Heavyweight Championship Match

Nick Aldis w/Kamille (c) vs PJ Black

They kick off the match by grappling before PJ gets a quick two count off of a roll up and backs Nick into the corner for a clean break. PJ mocks Nick before Nick drops him with a shoulder block and PJ sweeps his legs out for a one count. They exchange head scissors and side headlocks until PJ offers to help Nick up, Nick getting the help only for PJ to rock him with a European uppercut. They shake hands before PJ sweeps Nick and stomps on his back before Nick comes back with a clothesline and chops from one corner to the next. Nick whips PJ unto the corner and hits a running clothesline before PJ hits a huricanrrana that sends Nick out of the ring.

Back in the ring PJ pokes the eyes of Nick, Nick rolling back out of the ring to recover before Kamille gets in the way of Nick when PJ teases a dive to the outside. Nick then clotheslines PJ at ringside as we go to commercial.

Nick hits a delayed suplex for a two count as we return to the action before following PJ around the ring and hitting a high angle back body drop for a two count. They exchange chops until PJ drops Nick with a spin kick and hits a jumping elbow into a diving clothesline for a two count. PJ hits a reverse DDT and a diving stomp for a near fall before Nick hits a release German suplex with PJ landing on his neck. Nick hits a gutwrench powerbomb and goes for a cloverleaf, but PJ counters immediately before Nick sets PJ up on the top turnbuckle. Nick then hits a German suplex off of the top for a near fall as we go to commercial.

We come back to Nick going up to the top before PJ catches him taking too long and hits a frankensteiner into a moonsault for a near fall. PJ locks in a standing dragon sleeper before Nick turns it into a tombstone and a diving elbow drop for a near fall. Kamille turn tries to distract the referee before Nick grabs the belt and gets caught before PJ rolls him up for a near fall. PJ locks in a variation of a Boston crab, but Nick gets to the bottom rope for the break before PJ takes out Kamille with a wrecking ball dropkick at ringside. PJ sends Nick into the ring post and rolls him back into the ring before hitting a springboard cross body that Nick rolls through for a near fall.

Nick then sits down on a sunset flip for a near fall before the referee sees him holding the ropes and Nick locks in the cloverleaf for the tap and the win.

Winner: Nick Aldis retains his NWA World Heavyweight Championship by defeating PJ Black via submission with a cloverleaf.

-Juice Robinson comes out to the ring before introducing Life Blood, consisting of himself, Tracy Williams, Tenille Dashwood, David Finlay, Bandido and Mark Haskins as we go off the air.
