Ring of Honor TV (6/8/2023) Results: Willow vs Ellering, Embassy In Trios Action, 10 More Bouts Set.

Results for the 6/8/2023 edition of ROH TV.

Ring of Honor presented the fifteenth episode of their new era on Thursday, June 8, 2023, and it aired on ROH Honor Club. The show was headlined with NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Willow Nightingale defending her gold against former IMPACT Knockout’s Tag Team Champion Rachael Ellering. 

Elsewhere on the card, Rey Fenix competed in singles competition against the debuting Gravity, The Embassy competed in a Proving Ground Match against Marcus Kross & the Shinobi Shadow Squad, and the Dark Order faced off against Shane Taylor & The WorkHorsemen. ROH TV (6/8/2023).

  • Kyle Fletcher def. Christopher Daniels.
  • Matt Sydal def. Zack Clayton (w/ Zack Clayton).
    • Matt Sydal cut a promo calling out ROH Television Champion Matt Sydal, saying that he was eyeing Joe’s title.
  • Dralistico (w/ Jose The Assistant) def. Willie Mack.
  • Tony Khan was on the ramp announcing that Samoa Joe will defend his ROH Television Championship against Matt Sydal Next week. Khan also announced a new Board of Directors, comprised of former manager of AEW’s The Firm & former A1 Outer Limits Champion Stokely Hathaway, and former ROH World Heavyweight Champion & former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Jerry Lynn.
  • NJPW Strong Women’s Championship Match: Willow Nightingale (c) def. Rachael Ellering.
  • ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship – Proving Ground Match: The Embassy (Brian Cage, Kaun & Toa Liona) (c) def. Marcus Kross & Shinobi Shadow Squad (Eli Isom & Cheeseburger).
  • Mercedes Martinez def. Vertvixen
  • Lee Moriarty def. Griff Garrison.
  • Kiera Hogan def. Robyn Renegade (w/ Charlette Renegade).
    • After the match, ROH Women’s Champion Athena attacked Hogan from behind. Athena tried to hit Hogan with a Kendo Stick, but Hogan evade and took the stick before slamming it onto AThena’s back before shattering the kendo stick.
  • Dark Order (Evil Uno, Alex Reynolds & John Silver) def. Shane Taylor & The WorkHorsemen (JD Drake & Anthony Henry).
  • Stu Grayson & The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch) were interviewed backstage. Grayson said that he was not impressed with Dark Order’s performance before Vincent said that if what Dark Order was bad, what they would do next week would be worse. 
  • Darius Martin, Action Andretti & AR Fox vs. Trustbusters (Sonny Kiss, Slim Jay & Jeeves Kay).
  • The Kingdom (Mike Bennett & Matt Taven) (w/ Maria Kanellis-Bennett) def. Cobarde & Dragon.
  • Stokely Hathaway, Jerry Lynn & Tony Khan came to the ramp again. Hathaway suggested budget cuts & Action Andretti against The Embassy in a handicap match. Khan refuted by saying that Andretti, AR Fox & Darius Martin for the ROH Trios Titles against The Embassy. Khan revealed that Hathaway suggested no more Lucha Libre, but Hathaway admitted that the idea was a miss. 
  • Rey Fenix def. Gravity.
    • After the match, Rey Fenix shook hands with Leon Saint Giovanni, who was the timekeeper for the night. Fenix then embraced with Gravity in the ring to end the broadcast.
