Ring Of Honor Investigating Allegations Made Against Wrestlers

Ring of Honor has issued a statement in light of recent allegations made against those on its roster who have been accused of a number of things during the #SpeakingOut movement.

The company announced that it will conduct an investigation, effective immediately, into claims made against its wrestlers currently with the company. Below is the statement.

At Ring Of Honor, we pride ourselves on the respectful and inclusive environment we have built, one that ensures all employees can work in a place where they feel safe and respected.

We take these matters extremely seriously and have a zero tolerance policy when it comes to this type of behavior.

Ring of Honor has launched an immediate investigation into the claims made against its currently contracted wrestlers. We will update you on our investigation once it concludes.

A notable name with ROH was Marty Scurll, who was accused by a woman of sexual assault in 2015 following an IPW UK show when she was 16 years old, which is the legal age in England. The woman claims Scurll sat in a chair, pulled out his penis, and told her to suck it, which she did. She goes on to claim Scurll took her into a cupboard, pulled down her underwear, and tried to penetrate her before a friend showed up and told him to leave. The woman says Scurll, “sexually assaulted a drunk child” in her allegation.

Scurll has issued two statements on the matter, with the most recent one being a more detailed statement.
