Rikishi Comments On Scott Steiner’s ‘Big Bad Booty Daddy’ Nickname, ‘Why Didn’t I Think Of That?’
Rikishi and Scott Steiner could have both claimed to be “The Big Bad Booty Daddy” in entirely opposite ways.
During his run at the top of WCW, Scott Steiner began calling himself “The Big Bad Booty Daddy.” He would carry this moniker with him into WWE in 2003. This was just a way for Steiner to emphasize how many “freaks” he had.
Meanwhile, over in WWE, Riksihi’s gimmick had become about 90% centered around his ass. Using the Banzai Drop as one of his finishers and the Stink Face being a wildly popular spot worldwide, it could easily be argued that Rikishi was the true “Big Bad Booty Daddy.”
Speaking on the most recent episode of his Off The Top podcast, Rikishi joked that he questioned why he didn’t think of that name first.
“I thought it was over. Man, I was like, ‘Why didn’t I think of that?’ But I think we still kind of got the same vibe. I represent all the biggens. All them big bad booty apple bottoms out there, we not bodybuilders, but we still…like the natural. Not saying that Scotty wasn’t, but you know what I mean? When you look at Scotty, tell me what fitness chick would not want to lay up with Big Bad Booty Man? His body’s built like a women’s pet. Peaks and freaks and goodbye.”
Rikishi and Scott Steiner were on opposite ends of a tag team match at WrestleMania IX as The Steiner Brothers (Rick Steiner & Scott Steiner) defeated The Headshrinkers (Fatu & Samu) in the second match of the main card.
In truth, Rikishi and Scott Steiner are both dads. Rikishi just got to watch his son, Jey Uso, defeat Bron Breakker, Scott Steiner’s nephew, to capture his first WWE Intercontinental Championship. Read his comments on that moment as a proud papa here.
