Ricochet comments on returning to NJPW.
Ricochet recently departed WWE and is now with AEW and made an appearance at NJPW in November’s NJPW Power Struggle. Ricochet and Zack Sabre Jr. will face off at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty on January 5. The match was set up at Power Struggle when Ricochet assaulted the IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and challenged him to a match at the crossover event in the Tokyo Dome.
Speaking to Justin Dhillon on Casual Conversations with The Wrestling Classic, Ricochet expressed his excitement, anxiety, and intrigue about returning to the Tokyo Dome.
“Oh, yeah, absolutely. It’s funny because [being] in the Tokyo Dome, it’s just crazy, the last time I was there, I don’t even remember, but now to be able to go back again and to be able to be put in the spot that now I’m going to be in is absolutely amazing. It’s a dream come true. A little nerve-wracking, but one of those moments that you wait for your whole life.”
