Ricochet Names His Favorite 630 Splash In WWE; Talks His Favorite Times He’s Hit The Recoil

Ricochet talks about his favorite times hitting his finishing moves in the world of WWE.

Ricochet is able to hit a wide variety of maneuvers due to his great athleticism. Currently, Ricochet is hitting two maneuvers to finish matches, The Recoil, what he calls Chris Jericho’s Codebreaker, and the 630 Splash.

Speaking with Ryan Satin on the Out of Character podcast, Ricochet named his favorite times to hit The Recoil specifically saying that it’s always when he hits his best friends, but the best is yet to come.

“I’ve hit some good ones are my homeboy Tozawa. I’m sorry, bro, but I put you down. I can hit him with a pretty good one. I don’t know [if it’s] his body structure, but he just — it’s devastating. Again, it’s all my boys. I hit Cedric Alexander. Sorry, bro. But I gotta put you down, too. Hit him one. Do you know what I mean? But really, I guess the best ones are coming up soon. The best ones are coming up soon, I guess.”

Speaking about the 630 Splash, Ricochet specifically noted the two times in WWE that stand out the most are the time that he won the United States Championship and the time that he hit the move at WrestleMania. Outside of WWE, he recalled hitting the move on Jushin Thunder Liger.

“I mean, anytime you hit something that leads to gold is one. So when I beat Samoa Joe for the United States Championship, that one for sure. That one’s gotta be up there. I hit one on Sheamus, good. I crushed him at WrestleMania. So anything at WrestleMania is always going to be worth it. You know what I mean? Anything at WrestleMania, because it’s just the grandest stage. One of those, probably, because of circumstances. But honorable mention we were in Osaka, Japan one time — I was, I should say, and I was up on the top rope and I’m looking down and I’m like, ‘I’m about to hit Jushin Thunder Liger with the 630.’ It was just a cool experience. So that was a cool one for me because he’s the guy who created the Shooting Star Press. He’s the guy who likes, just looked up to me standing up there. I’m like, I’m about to hit this man.”

Elsewhere in the interview, Ricochet spoke about why he is not eager to turn heel at this stage of the game in WWE. Learn more here.
