Rich Swann Grants Moose A Future IMPACT World Title Match To Save Willie Mack At Genesis 2021

Moose will finally get his opportunity at the IMPACT World Heavyweight Championship.

At IMPACT Genesis 2021, Moose and Willie Mack were involved in a violent I Quit Match in the main event of the show.

The closing moments saw Rich Swann, the IMPACT Wrestling World Heavyweight Champion, come out to save Willie Mack as Moose had wrapped a steel chair around Mack’s head while he was unconscious and was going to use a second steel chair to “end the career of Willie Mack.” Rich Swann asked Moose what he wanted in order to make the match stop because he felt that Moose’s actions were going too far.

Moose responded by telling Rich Swann that he already knew what he wanted and that is when Rich Swann agreed to give Moose an opportunity at the IMPACT World Heavyweight Championship. At which point, Moose then said “I Quit,” awarding the match to Willie Mack before walking away with his TNA World Heavyweight Championship.

At this time, it is uncertain when/if the agreed championship match will take place. Frightful will continue to monitor all things IMPACT and report all updates.

The next IMPACT pay-per-view is Hard To Kill on January 16, 2021. At that event, Swann will team with The Motor City Machine Guns to take on Kenny Omega, Karl Anderson, and Doc Gallows in six-man tag team action
