Rich Swann Crowned Unified IMPACT World Champion, Will Face Kenny Omega At Rebellion
And Still. And New.
At Sacrifice on March 13, 2021, Rich Swann and Moose faced off to crown a Unified IMPACT! World Champion. This past Tuesday, Scott D’Amore also announced that the winner of the bout would go on to face AEW World Champion Kenny Omega in a Title vs. Title match at Rebellion on April 24.
The two men had a close, back-and-forth encounter, trading near falls the entire way through. Towards the conclusion, some of the highlights included Swann hitting a 450 Splash off of the second rope and Moose connecting on a Moonsault Fallaway Slam. Things wrapped up, however, when after missing a Spear and smashing into a chair in the corner post, Moose was pinned by Swann via a Crucifix Bomb into a bridge.
