Ric Flair Denies Having COVID-19, Confirms His Wife Tested Positive
Ric Flair does not have COVID-19, but his wife, Wendy Barlow, does.
The New York Post ran a story on Flair being spotting out without a mask and source told the Post that Flair tested positive for the virus. Flair denied being positive for COVID-19, telling the outlet, “That is absolutely incorrect. My wife does [have the virus]… we live in a 5,000 square foot home. I live in the basement. She lives upstairs on the third floor and she got sick.”
Flair hung up before follow-up questions could be asked and later sent a text to the Post to say that his health is excellent.
Flair has been featured on WWE television in recent months, appearing alongside Randy Orton and championing Orton as the Greatest Wrestler Ever. Flair has been advertised to appear in Orton’s corner in Orton’s unsanctioned match against The Big Show on Monday’s episode of WWE Raw.
Flair recently said WWE is doing everything possible to make sure “the kids” are being tested and wearing masks, referring to the Performance Center trainees who are serving as audience members.
