Rhyno Wins Primary Race While Goring Heath Slater

Rhyno is a man of many talents. Professional wrestler, free agent killer, and now Republican primary winner.

Former NWA and ECW World Champion Rhyno emerged victorious last night in the Republican primary for Michigan’s 15th House District seat. Rhyno’s fundraiser methods turned heads, as he held a chili supper, where the flyer featured a WWE promo photo of Rhyno with a chef’s hat on.

Rhyno defeated fellow Republicans Paul Sophiea and Richard Johnson by only 56 votes, and will face off with Democratic candidate Abdullah Hammoud this November. The position, which comes with a $71,685 salary, is being handed over by George Darany (D), who has reached his term limit.

Rhyno returned to the WWE main roster on last week’s Smackdown Live, spearing Heath Slater. Rhyno did the same in a backstage segment on this week’s edition, and will face Slater on the show next week. Rhyno also appeared for WWE NXT each of the last two years, a main roster WWE angle in late 2015, and had a run with TNA in 2014.
