Rey Mysterio Says There Is Usually No Test Run With New Moves
Rey Mysterio sees and acts.
Rey Mysterio is one of the most innovative and influential wrestlers of the last three decades, still performing moves that gets fans on their feet.
Speaking on BWGS podcast during WrestleMania XL week, Rey was asked if he tests out his moves before trying them in live action.
“There’s usually no test. What happens is I get very creative visually, and I can sit by ringside and kind of… See the moves that I can possibly try and do and if I if I think I can pull it off I might try it one time at about 50% and if the other 50 I feel I can do easily then I’ll knock it out,” he said.
Mysterio was on the wrong end of an innovative move on Friday’s WWE SmackDown, getting caught in a middle rope Styles Clash from AJ Styles onto Kevin Owens.
Elsewhere during the interview, Mysterio was asked if he regrets winning custody of Dominik. You can find his full comments by clicking here.
