Rey Fenix Defeats Jon Moxley, Wins AEW International Championship At AEW Dynamite: Grand Slam
Rey Fenix is the new AEW International Champion.
Fenix shocked the world on the September 20 episode of AEW Dynamite, as he was able to knock off Jon Moxley to win the AEW International Championship. To win the bout, Fenix planted Moxley with a pile driver and pinned him moments later.

With this win, Fenix halts Moxley’s reign with the AEW International Championship at 17 days. Moxley won the belt at the All Out pay-per-view, as he defeated Orange Cassidy and brought his historic reign to an end.
Furthermore, this is Fenix’s first time winning a singles championship within the confines of All Elite Wrestling. Fenix is also a former AEW World Tag Team Champion.
