Rey Fenix Claims He Needed A Doctor And Was Ignored For Months, AEW Says They Can’t Comment On Medical Claims

Rey Fenix has started speaking his truth regarding his status with AEW, where he is still under contract after injury time was added. 

Fenix was sidelined from October 2023 to April 2024 with an injury. He also missed time from January 2022 to April 2022 with an arm injury and from April 2021 to July 2021 with a reported groin injury. 

On social media, Fenix claimed that he needed a doctor and was ignored for months.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp asked AEW about Fenix’s claims. He was told, “they’re opting to not comment at this time, and can’t comment on medical claims.”

Fenix previously stated, “No one stays in a place where they received inhumane treatment.”
