Report: The Young Bucks Sign New AEW Contracts
The Young Bucks will be All Elite until at least 2026.
Matt and Nick Jackson are part of the genesis of AEW. Along with Cody Rhodes, they funded All In, largely considered to be the precursor to the AEW event. In the three years that AEW has existed, they have been tag team champions and helped spotlight new tag teams like top-flight and Private Party.
Now, a new report says they have signed a contract that will keep them in the promotion until at least 2026.
Dave Meltzer in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that new contracts have been signed by the brother combination that was also Executive Vice Presidents of the promotion when it started. None of the contract terms are known including if any of the deals are in regards to executive positions.
Currently, The Young Bucks are out of action after competing in a crazy Falls Count Anywhere tag match at Full Gear 2021 against Jurassic Express and Christian Cage. Learn more about their injuries here.
