Report: WWE WrestleMania 36 To Be Held In Tampa, FL On April 5, 2020
WrestleMania is reportedly heading back to Florida.
According to a report from Collin Sherwin of 813 Area, WrestleMania 36 will be held at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on April 5, 2020. PWInsider first reported the news of WrestleMania 36 being rumored for Tampa.
WWE has yet to confirm the date or location. In a statement to the Tampa Bay Times, WWE said, “We have nothing to announce at this time.” Sherwin reports that WWE is expected to hold a press conference on Mar. 7 in Tampa to make the official announcement.

The commission submitted a bid for Tampa to host WrestleMania in 2023, 2024 or 2025. Raymond James Stadium and Tampa will also be home to one of the eight XFL teams. The XFL season is set to begin roughly two months before WrestleMania 36. Tampa is also set to host Super Bowl LV in 2021.
WWE has held WrestleMania in Florida three times. Orlando hosted the event in 2008 and 2017 while Miami hosted the event in 2012. The announced attendance at each was more than 74,000. Raymond James Stadium seats roughly 66,000.
