Report: WWE Talent Reprimanded For Going Over Time Cues On Recent Shows
WWE has reportedly been strictly enforcing time cues on recent shows.
According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider, a number of WWE talent were reprimanded for going over time in recent weeks, including Survivor Series and subsequent television shows. Johnson goes on to report that there is heat falling on some producers if their segments end up going over on time.
WWE is reportedly strictly enforcing time cues as of late.
Elsewhere in Johnson’s report, he notes that several argued against the opening segment between Randy Orton, Alexa Bliss, and ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt, feeling it was “weak” and needed to be overhauled, but that it was Vince McMahon’s vision and thus wasn’t changed.
Speaking of Vince, it’s reported that Vince has spent “a lot of time” with Dre McIntyre in getting his sword entrance correct in terms of blocking and setting up his pyro. McIntyre is using McMahon’s sword as part of his entrance.
Johnson also reports that Sonjay Dutt is working full-time in NXT as a producer.
