Report: WWE Returning To Saudi Arabia In October, Barring Restrictions
WWE is reportedly heading back to Saudi Arabia this year.
Andrew Zarian of Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast reports WWE will return to Saudi Arabia in October, as long as there are no restrictions.
Though no date was confirmed, Zarian notes that he has heard October 21 as the date of the event.
WWE has not run an event in Saudi Arabia since February 2020’s Super ShowDown due to the pandemic restricting travel in and out of America. WWE signed a ten-year partnership in 2018 with Saudi General Sports Authority, with plans to run two events per year.
