Report: WWE Postpones Raw Taping


WWE has postponed Friday’s taping of Raw.

John Pollock of POST Wrestling reports the Friday taping of WWE Raw has been postponed until Saturday. WWE was set to tape tonight’s episode of SmackDown and this Monday’s episode of Raw during today’s tapings, but that has now been changed. The taping for tonight’s WWE SmackDown is underway.

It is unknown how this will affect Saturday’s tapings. WWE was set to tape the July 3 episode of SmackDown and July 6 episode of Raw on Saturday.

Tonight’s episode of SmackDown will be a tribute to The Undertaker with WWE airing the Boneyard Match. It is unknown what else will air on the program. Fightful Select reported there have been rewrites to tonight’s show.

WWE talent has continued to undergo COVID-19 testing following reports of multiple positive tests on Wednesday afternoon. It is unknown the exact number of positive tests in WWE, but four talents have disclosed a positive test and one extra has stepped forward as well.
