On September 15, WWE laid off over 100 employees. Per PWInsider, the Insights & Analytics team, as well as the Marketing, Graphic Design, and Live Events department all saw departures. The WWE Network and Podcasting divisions were also hit with layoffs. Now, the company is making more cuts, according to multiple sources.
Citing multiple people at WWE, Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics reports that the company has laid off more corporate employees.

This follows layoffs of more than 100 employees in September following the closing of the TKO merger.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful also wrote that he has heard of the layoffs as well. Mike Johnson of PWInsider confirmed the news but noted that there is currently no word on specific firings.
Update: Thurston later reported that finance, the sales and partnerships team, human relations, and production were affected by the layoffs. He wrote that multiple Senior Vice Presidents were laid off, including Michael Weitz (SVP, Financial Planning), Craig Stimmel (Head of Global Sales and Partnerships), Karen Mullane (Controller and Chief Accounting Officer), Stewart Frey (SVP, Streaming Technology), and Matt Geyer (SVP, Gaming).
Weitz had served as the head of investor relations for several years. Stimmel had been with the company since 2022.
These reported layoffs came the same day that NXT interviewer McKenzie Mitchell announced her release.
