Report: WWE Has Sold 7,000 Tickets For Their ‘Evolution’ PPV So Far

Update on the ticket sales.

The first-ever all-women’s PPV ‘Evolution’ is coming up in just one month. On October 28th the women of WWE will take center stage as they will have the spotlight shined bright on them in the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island. With a month to go there are seven matches that are set to take place on the show with only two of those having been officially announced. 

The two that have been announced is Mickie James versus Lita and Alexa Bliss versus Trish Stratus. The matches that have yet to be confirmed by WWE but are indeed happening is the finals of the Mae Young Classic tournament, and the RAW Women’s, SmackDown Live Women’s, NXT Women’s, and NXT U.K. Women’s Championships will all be defended on the show as well. With more announcements looming, ‘Evolution’ is halfway home in terms of ticket sales. According to Dave Meltzer during the latest installment of the Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE has sold 7,000 tickets for ‘Evolution’ with 2,000 of those falling into the possession of scalpers.

 

Some of the women on WWE’s roster have thrown out their respective challenges to the superstars of the past as exampled by Naomi calling out Melina and former RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax having her sights set on a match with WWE Hall Of Famer Beth Phoenix.
