VP Of Post Production Kevin Sullivan Let Go By AEW
Behind the scenes changes for AEW.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer reports that AEW Vice President of Post Production Kevin Sullivan has been let go by the company.
Fightful has confirmed Sullivan’s departure.
Mike Mansury, the Senior Vice President and Co-Executive Producer reportedly made the call.
Sullivan, who has no relation to the former wrestler by the same name, had been with the company since October 2019.
Sullivan left his position as Vice President, Production/Executive Producer/Development/Creative Director in IMPACT Wrestling to join AEW. He had been with IMPACT for 14 years.
Sullivan runs his own post-production studio in Nashville, TN.
Update: IMPACT Wrestling ring announcer David Penzer responded and clarified that Sullivan was the VP of Post Production, which means that he runs the studio in Nashville that edits Rampage, does packages for AEW programming and promotional advertisements. Penzer stated that this move would not affect AEW’s live production.
Just a point of clarity. Kevin is VP of POST Production which means he runs the studio in Nashville that edits Rampage, does packages for TV/PPV’s, promo ad’s etc. Those who think their live production is lacking, this move wouldn’t change anything in that regard. FYI…
