Report: The Usos Sign Five-Year Deals With WWE
The Usos have been locked down.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Jimmy & Jey Uso have signed new deals with WWE. The deals were reportedly agreed to several weeks back. Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that the deal is for five years and it came with a pay raise.
It was reported in February that the contracts for The Usos were set to expire in April, though no firm date was given. Despite Jimmy & Jey not signing new deals at the time, WWE remained hopeful that a deal would be done and the duo would remain with the company.
As announced last night on SmackDown, The Usos will defend their SmackDown Tag Team Titles against Ricochet & Aleister Black, The Bar, and Rusev & Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 35.
The Usos signed with WWE in 2009, joining Florida Championship Wrestling, which served as the WWE developmental brand at the time. They made their debut on the main roster in 2010. The brothers are two-time WWE Tag Team Champions, four-time and current SmackDown Tag Team Champions, and two-time Slammy winners for Tag Team of the Year.
