Report: Tyson Fury ‘In Talks’ To Make WWE Return
Tyson Fury is potentially returning to WWE.
GiveMeSport reports Fury is talking with WWE regarding a potential return this summer. Nothing has been made official and it is unknown in what capacity Fury will return, though the report notes, “His return would tie in with Clash at the Castle, which is slated to take place on September 3 in Cardiff, Wales.”
Tyson has also openly spoken about his desire to return to WWE at some point and has had a media war of words with Drew McIntyre.
Fury previously competed at WWE Crown Jewel 2019, defeating Braun Strowman by countout when he punched him off the apron. He returned for a November episode of WWE SmackDown, teaming with Strowman to defeat B-Team (Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel). Since then, he has hinted at a WWE return and his wife has said that he’s always in contact with Vince McMahon.
Fury has stated that he’s done boxing after picking up a TKO victory over Dillian Whyte in November. If the retirement sticks, the 33-year-old would finish up his career with a 32-0-1 record. He’s also stated he’s open to exhibition bouts.
Fightful will continue to update fans on the status of Fury returning to WWE when more is known.
