Zelina Vega has been out of action in recent months; she last wrestled on the April 11 episode of WWE Raw, where she lost to Bianca Belair. She reportedly had surgery in May, and initial reports stated that she was expected to miss another six to eight weeks.
In an update, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Vega has been spotted at the Boston Airport ahead of Friday’s episode of SmackDown, and she is set to be part of the show. Johnson noted that she has a new look, as she is sporting blonde hair.
In a recent tweet, Vega showed off this new style and teased her return.

Vega returned to WWE in July 2021 and subsequently won the inaugural Queen’s Crown Tournament. She later formed a tag team with Carmella, and the duo captured the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.
