Report: Sid Scala Let Go By WWE

Sid Scala was reportedly released by WWE.

Sid Scala, per PWInsider, is no longer with WWE. Scala was a member of the NXT UK brand from December 2018 until the brand went on hiatus in September 2022.

During his time in NXT UK Scala acted as the assistant general manager under British wrestling great Johnny Saint. Scala was also utilized behind the scenes as a coach and producer but he had not been used since.

He had last competed in a professional wrestling match in 2023.

NXT UK went on hiatus in 2022 to make way for NXT Europe. While not much movement has been made, WWE has yet to give any indication that plans for NXT Europe are no longer in place. Learn more about NXT Europe here.
